After hitting the send button, Christine set her phone down and looked into the mirror. She had just finished texting Will the place of the restaurant they were supposed to be eating at. She finished applying some lipstick, grabbed her purse and keys, and headed out the door. She climbed into her car and turned the engine on. She drove through town until she finally pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant.
Unbuckling her seat belt, she exited the car, carefully not to trip on her heels. “Why do i even where these shoes?” She muttered to herself, rolling her eyes quickly. She made her way into the dim-lighted building. Christine was very excited to be seeing him; going the whole day without him seemed to prove very hard. She shook the thoughts away, turning her head and looking around for any signs of Will.
After receiving a text from Christine, Will smiled and grabbed his keys and wallet. He slipped on his Supras and walked out the door to the black Range Rover his parents got him for his 16th birthday. As he drove towards the restaurant where he was meeting his history teacher for a date, Will felt like a kid trying to conceal the cookie they stole from the jar. Knowing it was wrong and things could end in disaster, Will let his immature heart overrule his mind and pushed the feeling of guilt away.
Walking into the small restaurant that was nearly deserted, Will looked to see if his date was there. When he spotted her shiny golden locks, an uncontrollable grin appeared on his face and he began to walk over to her. She was faced away from him, but he could tell it was her by her body language and hair. He bent down, wrapped his arms around her, and whispered, “Hey sexy. Miss me?” He gave her a kiss on the cheek and sat down in the seat across from her. He made sure no one was watching them to ensure that people would know about their relationship. Grabbing his menu, he peered at her over it and smiled at her beauty, glad he got to enjoy it more than anyone else.
